Tim Roberts Named By Radio Ink As One Of The Best Programmers in Radio!

Detroit , MI – Tim Roberts, Operations Manager and Program Director of 104.3 WOMC and 99.5 WYCD, has been named one of the “Best Programmers in Radio/Major Market” by Radio Ink magazine. Radio Ink is a radio industry publication focusing on Management and Marketing for radio.

Roberts is featured in the October 19, 2009 issue of Radio Ink featuring the top programmers in the industry from across the country. Each year the publication accepts nominations from industry professionals. An Independent Review Board selected by Radio Ink reviewed the many nominations and selected the honorees based on criteria relevant to the industry.

“Tim is an outstanding programmer and it’s exciting to see him be honored,” noted Debbie Kenyon, Senior Vice President/Market Manager with CBS RADIO Detroit. “Tim is a true industry professional and leader with great vision.”

Roberts joined WYCD in 2004 and immediately took the station to #1 in the Detroit Market. In early 2009, 104.3 WOMC was added to his programming duties. He also oversees CBS RADIO Detroit’s Psychic Radio which can be found at psychicradio.com.
